Commercial Sales and Marketing Manager - Metals Recycling - Base Salary to 140k/year - New Haven, CT

• Our client is a leading scrap metals and processing company. The team is seeking a Commercial Sales & Marketing Manager to join their family-oriented company culture.
  
• The Commercial Sales and Marketing Manager will be tasked with oversight of all sales & marketing responsibilities for the team including both international and domestic orders.

Responsibilities:

• Establish and maintain key relationships with customers
  
• Foster relationships with long standing clients
  
• Establish pricing for all materials coming in and going out of the facility
  
• Support the setup of new accounts - credit ratings, terms, position needs, etc
  
• Oversight of inventory levels and buying forecasts
  
• Monitor month to month demand from customers & implementation of sales plan for team
  
• Assist internal buying team with market data, pricing, bid support, and account proposals

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree
  
• 5+ years in similar Sales and Marketing role within Scrap Industry or related
  
• Team may consider a Buyer or Trader looking to take that next step in their career
  
• Familiarity with all types & grades of materials: ferrous, nonferrous, alloys, etc
  
• Robust background of scrap business as a whole - operation standpoint, sales & marketing, key decision making, sales process
  
• Team player with ability to wear multiple hats

Compensation:

• Our client is offering a base salary up to 140k/year along with a comprehensive benefits package. The team will also assist with a full relocation package to get to Connecticut.
