About the Role
HiClimb is looking for a part-time Content Creator to help capture the energy, community, and culture of our climbing gym in Honolulu. This is a hands-on creator role — ideating, filming, editing, and publishing short-form content for Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.

We’re looking for someone who understands how content performs online, can move quickly, and enjoys working in an active environment.

What You’ll Do

• Ideate weekly content aligned with HiClimb’s brand (climbing, fitness, community, humor, challenges, behind-the-scenes).
• Create a mix of entertainment, education, and selling-focused videos.
• Follow platform trends, sounds, and formats — and adapt them to fit HiClimb’s voice and culture.
• Film in the gym during open hours, classes, and events.
• Attend HiClimb events to actively create content — not just recap clips, but interviews, testimonials, on-the-spot moments, entertainment, and trend-driven pieces.
• Edit fast-paced short-form videos with strong hooks and clean pacing.
• Write captions that match the brand tone.
• Track performance and adjust based on what works.
• Meet twice weekly with the Community Manager (analytics + ideas, then approvals + scheduling).
• Schedule and publish content through Buffer.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience creating and editing short-form video content.
• Familiarity with CapCut, Premiere, Final Cut, or similar tools.
• Understanding of hooks, pacing, scroll behavior, and retention.
• Comfortable filming in an active gym environment.
• Comfortable talking with guests and encouraging them to be in videos.
• Able to work independently and move quickly.
• Interest or experience in climbing, fitness, sports, or gyms (bonus).

Schedule & Output

• 15–19 hours per week on site
• 30 videos per month target

• $20/hr

Job Type: Part-time
