Job Description

Salary: $75,000 - 90,000 per year Requirements:

• Security+ or higher certification required.
• At least 4 years of experience as a Systems Engineer or Systems Administrator.
• Outstanding oral and written communication abilities, including effective interaction with executives, engineers, sales teams, vendors, and colleagues.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to collaborate with others to develop and implement intricate projects.
• Must be tidy, organized, proactive, and show initiative.
• Experience with corporate antivirus/antispam, security, and backup solutions.
• Proficient knowledge of VMware/Virtual Environments.
• Solid understanding of Active Directory, Group Policy, and PowerShell scripting.
• Working knowledge of firewalls, IDS, and network security.
• Comprehensive understanding of switching and routing.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server (2016-2022).

• Oversee daily security operations in alignment with SLAs and escalation procedures.
• Provide suggestions to enhance the security posture of systems and services under the departments management.
• Investigate and address security threats.
• Execute incident response tasks.
• Define and enhance SOC processes and protocols.
• Research activities and generate correlation, detection, and suppression rules.
• Develop and oversee SOC projects.
• Create and sustain a highly efficient operational environment with tools and automation.
• Provide thorough documentation of tasks and customer environments.
• Manage multiple tasks concurrently.
• Communicate with the public and maintain excellent customer relations.
• Support the routine operations of the infrastructure.
• Serve as the point of contact for executives, Artilus, and vendors.
• Evaluate, deploy, monitor, manage, and maintain security appliances, firewalls, and virtual servers.
• Experience with Linux, Unix, BSD, or Mac is a plus.
