We are looking for a skilled and motivated Data Engineer to join our team on a full-time, permanent, remote basis within the UK. This role is open to entry-level through highly experienced professionals (0 15 years) who are passionate about building scalable data pipelines and enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes
Develop and manage data warehouses, data lakes, and data marts
Ensure data quality, reliability, and performance across systems
Work closely with Data Scientists, Analysts, and Product teams
Optimize data storage and retrieval for large-scale datasets
Implement data governance, security, and compliance best practices
Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve existing data infrastructure
Document data architecture and engineering processes
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field
Strong experience with Python, Java, or Scala
Proficiency in SQL and relational databases
Experience with ETL tools and data integration frameworks
Understanding of data modeling, warehousing concepts, and schema design
Familiarity with cloud platforms ( AWS, Azure, Snowflake or GCP )
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
