Shift Lead

Urban Wok is fresh global fusion stir fry, fast, fresh and flavorful! Our menu is built on clean and natural ingredients with vegan and vegetarian friendly options too. Our Signature Sauces are gluten free, vegan and made in house daily.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in similar role preferred 
• Great Customer service skills
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• Basic kitchen and safety knowledge
• Hard-working team player with the desire to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to stand through duration of shift 

Responsibilities

• Support the restaurant and the manager by running great shifts and meeting standards
• Take ownership and responsibility to solve problems and supoort and guide others
• Ensure #wokstars complete all assigned duties and serve safe, quality food 
• Greet and engage with guests to provide a positive experience
• Understand food safety and help maintain a clean restaurant
• Communicate effectively with managers, fellow #wokstars, and customers
• Support customers with technology-Kiosk & QR code table ordering
• Become familiar with building and cooking stir-fry meals while maintaining quality standards, cleanliness, and safety guidelines
• Understand our menu (including dietary restrictions), common ingredients, signature sauces, and ability to describe flavor profile
