Western Sizzlin was founded in 1962, in Augusta, GA, by Nick Pascarella. Nick discovered a unique way of grilling steaks. He used a special steak seasoning called Gold Dust®, and a special process of grilling the bottom and top of the steaks simultaneously; thus, our FlameKist® steak was born! The Great American Buffet was founded in 1993 and the Wood Grill Buffet in 1997.
