Overview

Lé Juice is hiring!

Lé Juice is a NEW ( opening soon) juice and smoothie bar located in Rochester, MI 48307.

We are currently seeking a General Manager with previous experience in a similar role to lead our team. It is not required, but it is desirable if you have experience in Vegan or plant-based cafes/restaurants/big chains and worked in high-level leadership roles in other juice bar businesses in the past.

The job will require you to organize daily operations, nurture friendly relationships with customers, and successfully turn the Juice Bar into the new local favorite!

Requirements

- Proven previous work experience as a General Manager in a similar role.

- Strong leadership and motivational skills.

- Financial management skills.

- Available to work full-time, within opening hours (including weekends and holidays).

- At least 3 years of experience in a managerial-level role.

- Full grasp of FOH and BOH service.

- Hiring experience.

- ANSI/CFP accredited Food Protection Manager Certification (CFPM)

Responsibilities

- Responding efficiently and accurately to restaurant customer complaints.

- Coordinate and manage daily front and back of house operations.

- Organize and supervise shifts.

- Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations.

- Train new employees on proper customer service practices and food/drink preparations.

- Create detailed reports on weekly, monthly, and annual revenues and expenses.

- Control operational costs.

- Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction.

- Hiring and onboarding new staff members.

- Ordering Inventory.

- Scheduling shifts in accordance with customer flow labor objectives.

Skills

  • Extensive experience in food service management within quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining environments.
  • Proven supervisory experience with strong leadership skills in team management and staff development.
  • Proficiency in managing POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction processing.
  • Solid understanding of inventory control, food handling procedures, and food safety regulations.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations professionally.
  • Experience in kitchen management including food preparation, cooking techniques, and culinary operations.
  • Ability to train staff effectively on food production standards, safety protocols, and operational procedures.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in shift management, budgeting, and operational planning.
  • Knowledge of hospitality management principles gained through hotel or catering experience is a plus.
