Maintenance & Facilities Technician (Local Travel Required)

Based in Glens Falls, NY – Local travel required to properties in and around the Glens Falls area
Full-Time, 40 hours
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (40 hours per week)
Starting at $22/hour and up, based on experience

Seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance & Facilities Technician to perform maintenance, repairs, and improvements across our office buildings and warehouse properties in the Glens Falls region. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently and/or with a small crew, takes pride in their craftsmanship, and is comfortable traveling locally between multiple sites.
Perform general building maintenance and basic trade repairs (plumbing, electrical, painting, carpentry, etc.).
Conduct regular inspections to identify issues and maintain facility standards
Respond to service requests and resolve problems efficiently
Assist with small renovation or improvement projects
Maintain safe working conditions and adhere to local building codes
Collaborate with coworkers, contractors, or vendors as needed
Maintain logs of maintenance work
Experience in general building maintenance, facilities upkeep, or construction
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Ability to work independently and manage a daily task list across multiple sites
Reliable transportation required to travel between properties
Valid driver’s license
Physical ability to lift and move tools, equipment, and materials
Experience working on commercial or warehouse properties
Familiarity with basic building code requirements
