Maintenance Technician | Hudsonville, MI

Salary Range: $47,000 - $78,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on production machinery and facility equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Execute planned and unplanned maintenance tasks, including equipment setup and adjustments.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, parts used, and equipment status.
• Adhere to all safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and good manufacturing practices (GMP).
• Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.

Recommended Qualifications

• 2-5 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong proficiency in mechanical, electrical (up to 480V), hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Proven ability to diagnose and repair complex equipment malfunctions using schematics and technical manuals.
• Familiarity with PLC troubleshooting and basic programming for automated machinery.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety protocols and skilled use of hand and power tools.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with PLC troubleshooting and programming.
• Proficiency in welding and fabrication (MIG, TIG, Stick).
• Prior experience utilizing Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• HVAC/Refrigeration experience or certification.
