Location: 1100 Flushing Avenue, Brooklyn, NY

Compensation:

• $75K-$90K based on experience
• 30% store discount

Overview: The Overnight Warehouse Manager is responsible for leading warehouse operations during the overnight shift. This role ensures smooth execution of overnight pick & pack production, metricized by labor rate and error rate. We’re seeking a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about operational excellence. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and dedicated to improving systems while motivating their team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead evening and overnight operations, ensuring seamless handoff from the day team and maintaining pace and efficiency throughout the shift.
• Spot-check orders for accuracy and product quality; address issues immediately.Identify and resolve bottlenecks (short staff, holds, system errors) to maintain workflow continuity.
• Oversee product quality control, expiration date tracking, and adherence to food safety standards.
• Monitor team performance and compliance with warehouse protocols and the training manual.
• Uphold strict quality control and cleanliness standards across all areas of the warehouse.
• Update SOPs, training manuals, and operational checklists.
• Support employee documentation such as onboarding, attendance, and disciplinary records.
• Ensure compliance with all food safety and sanitation policies.
• Lead, motivate, and train team members to achieve production and quality goals.
• Conduct interviews, onboarding, and performance reviews for warehouse staff.
• Develop and implement training programs to maintain consistency and accountability.
• Provide clear communication, coaching, and feedback to foster a culture of ownership and continuous improvement.

Ideal Candidate:

• Strong knowledge of food quality standards, especially in fresh produce.
• 2+ years of experience managing warehouse, grocery, or fulfillment center operations.
• Proven ability to manage fast-paced production environments and improve efficiency.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality control and error prevention.
• Effective leader capable of building morale and accountability among team members.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on operational improvement and proactive issue resolution.

Schedule:

• Saturday: 7PM – 5AM
• Sunday: 7PM – 5AM
• Monday: 7PM – 5AM
• Tuesday: 7PM – 5AM
• Wednesday: 7PM – 5AM
