Quality Manager | Otsego, MI

Salary Range: $90,000 - $137,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with industry standards.
• Oversee all quality control activities, including inspection, testing, and release of raw materials, in-process, and finished products.
• Lead root cause analysis for non-conformances and drive effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, ISO 9001) and customer specifications.
• Manage internal and external quality audits, ensuring timely resolution of findings.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, process efficiency, and reduce waste.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the quality assurance team, fostering a culture of quality throughout the organization.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in quality management within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven expertise in implementing and managing ISO 9001 or similar quality management systems.
• Strong proficiency in Lean Six Sigma methodologies, Statistical Process Control (SPC), and root cause analysis.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage teams and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
• Proficiency with advanced statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP)
• Experience with specific industry quality standards (e.g., IATF 16949, AS9100, ISO 13485)
• Experience implementing or managing enterprise Quality Management System (QMS) software
