What is the Opportunity?

At Ovivo, we offer you the opportunity to expand your skills and professional experience while collaborating with worldwide experts in water treatment. As a Regional Sales Manager with the Inlet Works team, you will provide leadership, sales assistance and training for all Municipal, Industrial, Power and Water Management inlet products.

The role is either based in our Salt Lake office or may be remote. If candidate is located in SLC we enjoy a hybrid working model. If 100% remote, candidates should be located within an hour of a major airport in the Eastern U.S. Expected domestic travel is 10-30%. With additional traveling during initial training.

What is the role?

  • Work within a cross-functional team environment with Engineering, Project Management and Marketing to achieve sales objectives and acceptable profit margins.
  • Provide sales support onsite and remote in such activities as demonstrations, specification review, customer presentations, product application and sizing.
  • Define product improvements and standardizations and recommend new product development.
  • Review specifications from customers to ensure conformance to proposals and bids.
  • Handover project details to the operations team to ensure support for the project's success.
  • Provide training and training materials for the internal team and external clients.
  • Integrate with the operations team to ensure application of lessons learned and support the operations team in working with the clients.
  • Support the technical evaluation, negotiations and elaboration of client contracts.
  • Establish controls and systems to achieve target margins during execution.
  • Cover certain territories throughout the US independent of location.

Does this sound like you?

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience with either:
    • Engineering or Technical Sales , OR
    • Direct engineering experience within the water / wastewater industry, and a desire to move into business development or sales oriented role.
  • BS. degree in one of the engineering disciplines is a plus but not required.
  • Experience in water / wastewater industry is preferred but not required for those with 5+ years of industrial or municipal technical sales experience.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude is required and ability to read and understand technical documents.
  • Ability to apply basic mathematical equations and to create solid solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to connect and work with clients to engender trust and build relationships.
  • Track record of innovation to solve client challenges with the support of operations.
