Registered Nurse (RN) Wound Care/Hyperbaric Outpatient Clinic Bring your passion to Texas Health where we are Better+Together * **Work location:** Texas Health Fort Worth, 1301 Pennsylvania Ave, Fort Worth, TX 76104 * **Work hours:** PRN 'As Needed' 7:30 am - 4:00 pm- hours are dependent on the needs of the unit **Department highlights:** * Opportunities for educational and career growth * Robust Unit Based Council (UBC) and engaged leadership team * We staff our exemplary team with wound care professionals who approach every patient, every colleague, every physician and every family member with compassion and high-quality patient care. **Here's What You Need** * Associate degree from an accredited Nursing program or nursing diploma required. * BSN preferred * One-year experience as a clinical nurse required. * Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing upon hire * Current BLS - prior to providing independent patient care required. * 2+ years of strong Med/surg RN experience in acute care or wound care setting including charge/preceptor skills (preferred) **What You Will Do** * Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process * Responsible for delivery of wound care and hyperbaric treatments as ordered by Physician. * Work with other team members to resolve patient issues. * Ensure communication with other care providers is timely, accurate, and complete. * Post-operative patient/family teaching and discharge instructions, referrals and supply needs. * Utilizes evidence-based practice to administer wound care.
