Job Title: Regression Testing Engineer

Location: Florida & Minnesota

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Regression Testing Engineer to join our Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, executing, and maintaining regression test cases to ensure software functionality is not negatively impacted by code changes. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and hands-on experience with automated and/or manual testing methods.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop regression test plans and test cases based on product requirements and bug fixes.

Execute regression tests manually or via automated tools after code changes or deployments.

Identify, document, and track defects in collaboration with development teams.

Maintain and update existing test scripts as application functionality evolves.

Work closely with cross-functional teams (Developers, Product Owners, Business Analysts) to understand system functionality and business needs.

Integrate regression testing into CI/CD pipelines for continuous quality assurance.

Participate in test planning, estimation, and status reporting activities.

Ensure thorough test coverage and maintain a high standard of software quality.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

[8+] years of experience in software testing with a focus on regression testing.

Proficiency in test case design, test execution, and defect tracking.

Experience with testing tools such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Postman, or QTP/UFT .

Familiarity with test management tools like JIRA, TestRail, ALM, or Zephyr .

Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development environments.

Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with automation frameworks and scripting (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript).

Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).

Domain knowledge in [e.g., Healthcare, Finance, eCommerce, etc.].
