JOB TITLE: Safety Coordinator PAY GRADE: $75,000-$125,000

POSITION SUMMARY
The Safety Coordinator will ensure a safe work environment by developing and implementing safety programs, conducting training, and monitoring compliance with safety regulations. The Safety Coordinator will identify hazards, investigate accidents, and ensure the organization adheres to legal and internal safety requirements.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; bend; squat; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must be able to climb a ladder, as may be necessary for various job sites.
This position requires the ability to occasionally lift equipment and supplies, up to 30 pounds. This position is subject to both environmental conditions, as activities occur inside and outside year-round.
MATERIALS & EQUIPMENT USED
Ability to operate all general office equipment including computer, printer, copier, fax, and phones. Must be able to drive a company truck to job sites.
WORKING CONDITIONS
This position will work approximately 40% of the time in the office and 60% of the time in the field visiting job sites.
