School Occupational Therapist (OT) – Full-Time Or Part-Time | Kent, WA | 2025–2026 School Year

Ampersand Therapy, a women- and therapist-founded company, is hiring a full-time or part-time Occupational Therapist (OT) for an in-person, school-based OT position in Kent, Washington for the rest of the 2025–2026 school year!

Position Details:

• Location: Kent, WA (in-person with a local public school district )
• Schedule: Full-time or part-time hours, Monday–Friday, no weekends
• Start Date: ASAP
• Caseload: K-12; discussed more in interview
• Services Provided:
• Direct occupational therapy services for school-aged students
• School-based evaluations, treatments, and IEP development
• Participation in IEP meetings with families and special education teams
• Documentation and progress reporting
• Collaboration with teachers, staff, and district leadership

Requirements:

• Valid Washington Occupational Therapist license (or willingness to obtain)
• ESA (Educational Staff Associate) certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Previous school-based experience preferred, especially working with COTAs and participating in IEP teams

Pay & Benefits:

• Pay: $55–$65/hour (W-2)
• Hours: ~37 hours/week
