Senior Ethics & Compliance Capabilities Manager, M&R position available with MCKINSEY & COMPANY, INC. UNITED STATES in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Responsible for overseeing the implementation of the Monitoring and Response program in their region by collaborating with stakeholders to develop the monitoring plan, creating a workplan for each responsible testing area, overseeing the sample selection process, assessing non-compliance with Firm requirements, and supporting with remediation efforts and reporting. In addition to managing ongoing monitoring efforts, lead supplemental monitoring efforts including targeted testing across the lifecycle of an engagements for compliance with policy and standard requirements, among others. Apply a deep risk-ownership mindset, as well as outstanding judgment, to manage complex and time-critical issues and act as a peer counselor to the Ethics & Compliance leads. Work closely with Firm Risk and Firm Legal to ensure cross-functional communication as it relates to monitoring results and overall efforts. Develop program metrics, deliver leadership updates, and contribute to program, enterprise, and policy guidance. Monitor the external landscape, assess the effectiveness of processes and controls, examine and interpret industry and regulatory trends, and develop recommendations for senior leaders and subject matter experts. Key contributor to developing solutions tailored for the unique needs of our Firm while also being a pivotal contributor to the overall change management process. Serve a sound advisor to the Director of E&C Monitoring and Response. Telecommuting permitted.
Qualified applicants for this position must possess a minimum of a Master's degree in Business Administration, Corporate Ethics and Compliance, or related field or foreign degree equivalent, and minimum three (3) years of experience in risk, ethics, compliance or governance in a large organization. Experience must include: Developing or driving compliance monitoring programs or related controls or governance framework; Developing, driving and implementing holistic ethics programs including issue management, investigations, and system implementation; Identifying and mitigating legal, regulatory, and compliance risks; Leading cross-functional teams to execute compliance strategies, reviews and initiatives; Implementing compliance systems and tools to enhance program effectiveness.
