As a supplier to industrial, residential, and contracting sectors, they have one of the most diversified and growing client bases in their product category. A recent expansion into the European and Southeast Asia markets has ensured their place at the top of their market and continued growth for the foreseeable future. To continue their current trajectory, they are looking to hire a Tooling Engineer.

Responsibilities:

• Lead design and development of plastic mold tooling; support NPD and production teams.
• Improve tooling performance by reducing cycle times, scrap, and costs
• Create and maintain CAD models, drawings, and documentation; perform mold flow and FEA analysis.
• Manage tooling projects in ERP systems; support Capex planning and continuous improvement efforts.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering (or equivalent experience with associate degree).
• 5+ years of tooling design experience, preferably in plastic injection
• Proficient in SolidWorks and familiar with mold flow, FEA tools, and ERP systems.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and project management skills; Lean/Six Sigma is a plus.
