Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Welder/Fabricator to join our team in Louisville, KY, 40219. In this role, you will be responsible for performing welding and fabrication tasks that meet our high-quality standards. Responsibilities

• Perform flux core welding on various materials and components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Fabricate metal parts and assemblies according to specifications.
• Inspect and test welds to ensure quality and compliance with standards.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within budget.
• Identify and troubleshoot welding issues and implement solutions.
• Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in welding is a plus.
• Proven experience as a flux core welder or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of welding techniques, tools, and safety practices.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical stamina and strength to handle heavy materials and equipment.
• Welding certification is preferred but not required.

• Troubleshooting Skills
• OSHA 10-Hour Certification (OSHA 10)
• Tape Measure Reading
• Welding Setups for Production
• Blueprint Reading

Machines & technologies you'll use:

• MIG Welder
• Flux-Cored Arc Welder
• Calipers and Micrometers

Salary info:

$25 - $28 / hr
