Job Description

Gpac is currently working with a mechanical contractor who has been recently recognized as one of the top 10 fasted growing mechanical construction companies in the US! With several locations and projects stretching over 40 states, they are actively seeking a HVAC Service Manager for one of their branches near Charlotte, North Carolina.

An ideal candidate will have at least 5 years management experience with a strong understanding of HVAC and refrigeration systems. This person also needs to be highly detailed oriented and skilled at effectively managing a department and training teams.

General responsibilities include:

Lead and support HVAC technicians
Oversee Service Sales Manager
Collaborate with dispatch to optimize technician scheduling
Provide clients and other leadership with project updates including job completion times, labor hours, and materials used/needed
Implement ongoing training programs to enhance HVAC technicians' skills in troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, compliance, safety
Identify and generate additional service opportunities, promoting and expanding agreements and estimating bids for contract work
Ensure accurate and timely delivery of reports and invoices to customers
Maintain strong communication with vendors and factory representatives
