The Sr. Manager, Logistics & Distribution will have operational responsibility for global logistics and transportation processes, as well as leadership over the Distribution Center in Cincinnati. Additionally, this role has direct P&L responsibility for The Cincinnati Distribution Center and Global freight spend. This position will be responsible for identifying opportunities within the supply chain to improve operational efficiencies by evaluating cost structures, implementing new technologies, and optimizing processes. This position reports to the Senior Director, Manufacturing and Operations, and is part of the Manufacturing and Operations team located in Cincinnati, Ohio, with an on-site role. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: + Manage warehouse processes at the Global Distribution Center in Cincinnati, including, but not limited to, receiving, picking, shipping, and material returns and repackaging processes. + Be responsible for budgeting annual spending, managing monthly forecasts, and reporting variances. + Be responsible for setting and managing KPI's. + Be responsible for maintaining all logistics/transportation supplier agreements and relationships. + Develop an annual freight productivity funnel, manage project execution, and develop action plans to meet performance objectives. + Be responsible for carrier performance management, including reporting and reviewing processes to improve quality of service, cost, and delivery performance year over year. The essential requirements of the job include: + 8-10 years of experience in Global Supply Chain, Transportation, Procurement, Planning, or Operations + Proven experience leading and building a diverse, global team + Proven experience managing site budgets with year-over-year savings + Extensive knowledge leading day-to-day activities in a fast-paced Distribution Center Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environmental Requirements: + Ability to travel - Must be able to travel up to 10% of the time, including overnight travel to both domestic and international locations. + Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record + Ability to lift, move, or carry equipment up to 10lb, and any other physical requirements It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: + Progressive experience in freight and transportation, including handling dangerous goods and cold chain shipments across ocean, air, truck, and small pack global freight modes strongly preferred. + Experience with SAP preferred.
