We’re looking for experienced, passionate and creative pastry cooks to join the opening team at Thea!
Thea is the newest Fort Greene project from Chef Tomer Blechman of Miss Ada, Nili and Theodora. The bakery is a continuation of the work we are doing at Theodora, centered around warm hospitality, fresh baked bread and pastries, house-made provisions and a creative sandwich program. We’re looking for pastry cooks who are looking to be on a collaborative, high-energy team. We look for candidates with a positive attitude and effective communication skills. The ideal candidate has:
-Experience working with viennoiserie`(mixing, laminating, shaping, baking)
-Experience working with puff pastry, enriched dough, cookies, quick breads, etc.
-Ability to accurately measure large quantities of product
-Ability to work mornings/weekends
-Works well on a team
-Good communicator
