Crown & Current runs across the year in Leicester, combining time in the pool with time spent learning to care for Afro-textured and mixed-texture hair. These are the parts that make it up.
Weekly sessions taught by qualified instructors, in small groups, at a pace that builds real water confidence.
Joint sessions for young people and their carers, covering protective styles and the practical work of managing hair.
Open to young people in foster, kinship and special guardianship care, and to the carers who look after them.
