MEET THE CARERS

Anji & Andrew

25 Years of Fostering, 16 Children supported. A quarter of a century of care, commitment, and family.

Anji and Andrew bring over 25 years of fostering experience
Having supported 16 children alongside raising their own family, including two daughters and an adopted son.

Their journey into fostering began through community connections — a reflection of how powerful word of mouth, faith groups, and local networks can be in changing lives. Today, they are passionate advocates for fostering, particularly within African and Caribbean communities.

Anji plays a leading role in building support systems for carers, helping others feel less alone in what can be a challenging yet deeply rewarding role. Together, they champion the idea that fostering is not done in isolation — it takes a village.

“Support networks don’t just help carers — they create stability for children.”
